She paints because it's what happens when you have too many ideas. Travels for fabric, drawings, anything worth collecting. Her work is full of things to discover: joy on the surface, everything else underneath.
Her studio is a small museum of things she couldn't let pass. We spent a morning there, drank coffee, and left with more questions than we arrived with. Which is maybe the best thing art can do.
